What is ShellWave?
ShellWave is one secure, managed AI workspace for your whole team — your people get the AI they want, and you keep control of data, access, and spend. We host it, govern it, and keep it running.
Who is it for?
Teams of roughly 5–100 people who want their staff to use AI safely instead of pasting company data into personal ChatGPT accounts. You get the productivity without losing control.
How does pricing work?
All-in, per seat. The more seats, the lower the per-seat price (volume pricing): $20/seat up to 10, $17 to 25, $14 to 50, $11 to 100. Every seat includes a pooled allowance of 1,000 credits/month, shared across your team. No setup fee, and paying annually gives you 2 months free. Need 100+ seats? Talk to us.
What's a credit?
A credit is roughly one small AI action — a normal chat costs a few credits; a big document analysis costs more. Credits are pooled company-wide. If you go past the pool it's $15 per 1,000 extra credits, and an admin spending cap is on by default, so there are no surprise bills.
Can we run it on our own cloud?
Yes — that's the Self-Host plan: a $2,500 hands-on setup on your infrastructure, then $8/seat/month for software, updates, governance config, and support (min $300/mo). You bring your own AI provider keys, so that usage is billed to you directly.
Do we need technical expertise?
No. ShellWave is fully managed — we handle hosting, security, updates, and monitoring. You don't touch a server. Your team just signs in with Google or Microsoft.
Is our data safe?
Your workspace is isolated to your company, with SSO, per-person budgets, and audit logging. We don't train on your data, and you can export it anytime — no lock-in.
Can you build a custom workflow for us?
Yes. Tell us a repetitive task and we build it into your workspace as an app — intake, routing, summarizing, drafting, follow-ups — inside the same governed environment.
